Bobby had a most unique personality, he had a zest for life and it showed in everything he did.

He would always put one hundred and ten percent into everything, especially in the show ring. If I were to choose one of my dogs that best represent what I truly feel is my ideal, then that would most likely be Bobby.

Bobby followed in the footsteps of his grandmother ”Midge”, in more ways than one. He started off like her with Best Baby Puppy in Show at the New South Wales specialty and went on to win the Baby Puppy Point Score for that year.

He gained his championship at eight and a half months of age and continued to surprise me with many Best in Group wins from the puppy class.

During his show career some of his most important wins include:

• BIS at the Basenji Club of Victoria’s specialty show;
• Runner up BIS All Breeds;
• Runner up BIS Hound Specialty;
• Multiple BIS winner at the New South Wales Basenji Club Open Show;
• Multiple BOB winner at Royal shows
• Winner of the New South Wales Basenji Club Adult point score.

No doubt, Bobby would also be the most successful stud dog I have bred. He has thrown many champions and was awarded the prestigious Fula Future Memorial Trophy for Sire of the Day at the Basenji Club of New South Wales Specialty Show for no less than six consecutive years.

Bobby has been a prolific producer of multiple Specialty and All Breeds BIS and RUBIS winners, as well as numerous Basenji Club point score winners in Australia and overseas.

He would generally throw true to his type with the lovely movement that the breed requires. He also had no trouble passing on his beautiful short back, level topline and magnificent tail.
